Technical Services Module

The Technical module manages the maintenance of physical security infrastructure (CCTV, Alarms, Fences) and internal assets.

Job Card Management

Lifecycle of a Job Card

The Job Card is the central document for all technical activities. It follows a multi-step process from request to completion.

1. Details

Every job card is linked to a Client and Site. It can also be linked to: - Source Quotation: Inheriting the approved costs and scope. - Specific Equipment: Linking the job to a serial-numbered asset.

2. Execution & Workflow

Once a Job Card is created, users follow a controlled workflow: - Assign Technicians: Dispatch one or more technicians to the job. - Start Work: Marks the job as "In Progress" and logs the started_at timestamp. - Complete Job: Finalizes the work.

3. Completion Evidence

To ensure accountability, the system requires: - Photos: Upload multiple images as evidence of work performed. - Client Confirmation: Capture the client's signature and feedback directly on a mobile device. - Completion Notes: A detailed summary of the resolution.

4. Costing & Traceability

The system automatically calculates: - Labor Costs: Based on the technician's time entries. - Material Costs: From job-linked line items and tracked labour. - SLA Performance: Compares the completed_at time against the SLA Due deadline.

Preventive Maintenance (PPM)

Scheduled Maintenance

Don't wait for things to break. Use the PPM Scheduler to: - Define Cycles: Set maintenance intervals (e.g., Monthly, Quarterly) for specific asset types. - Auto-Dispatch: The system can automatically generate and assign Job Cards when a maintenance window opens. - Audit Trail: Maintain a perfect history of service for compliance and insurance purposes.

Service Desk & Tickets

For ad-hoc faults, the Service Ticket system allows clients or staff to report issues. These can be prioritized (Low, Medium, High, Critical) and converted into Job Cards with a single click.
